Jamcracker and JBoss Group Partner to Provide Identity Management Solution

Jamcracker Inc. is partnering with JBoss Group to bring together a bundled solution to solve identity management challenges in enterprise and service provider environments. Jamcracker Pivot Path, now optimized for JBoss 3.2, is a cost effective, integrated suite for access management, provisioning, and the management of directories.

"Jamcracker Pivot Path Identity Management solution brings an easy-to-implement, full-function deployment environment to the JBoss platform," said Scott Stark, CTO, JBoss Group. "Jamcracker and JBoss together offer a production deployment platform that sets new standards for achieving lower total cost of ownership without compromising functionality and reliability."

The Pivot Path identity management solution addresses the complexity of managing users and services in a Web-based environment. Pivot Path manages the full lifecycle of applications and users from initial deployment, through continual operational changes, to the eventual retirement of users and applications. It includes a fully integrated Web-based helpdesk and a host of delegated administration and self-service capabilities. Pivot Path is available with pre-built connectors to many enterprise components including: SAP, Microsoft's Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, PeopleSoft and LDAP directories.
