Jenkins User Conference in San Francisco to Feature Sessions by The Gap, eBay, Google, Target

CloudBees, the enterprise Jenkins company, and the Jenkins Community, the community of developers using the Jenkins CI open source integration server, today announced its Fourth Annual Bay Area Jenkins User Conference (JUC) in San Francisco. The conference will include speakers from some of the most well-known names in American business. Sessions will be hosted by IT leaders from The Gap, eBay, Google, Target and EA (Electronic Arts).

The event, being held Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport hotel, brings Jenkins experts and community enthusiasts together for an invaluable day of Jenkins-focused learning and networking opportunities. Jenkins founder and CloudBees CTO Kohsuke Kawaguchi will deliver the keynote address and the conference’s opening remarks. Throughout the day, sessions will provide best practices, techniques and knowledge sharing for effective usage of Jenkins CI. For a full list of speakers, view the agenda at http://www.cloudbees.com/event/juc/2014/san-francisco.

The San Francisco JUC event is the last of four Jenkins conferences held in 2014, following other events in Boston, Berlin and Herzliya, Israel. Overall, the conferences will have drawn more than 2,000 attendees throughout the year. The San Francisco event is expected to be the largest, with more than 598 registrants on site and more than 400 expected to watch the event on a free live-stream feed. Those interested in the live-stream can register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/jenkins-user-conference-us-west-san-francisco-live-stream-tickets-12240011203.

“The continued growth of these conferences conveys that the Jenkins Community is thriving and looking for venues to network, learn and engage with one another for best practices,” Kawaguchi said. “We are seeing top businesses speak about their experiences with Jenkins and share their knowledge with the community as a whole. We are excited for next week’s conference.”
