Application Performance Management with JON & RTI

RTI (RootCause Transaction Instrumentation) is an APM (Application Performance Management) solution for Red Hat’s JBoss Middleware stack. RTI handles profiling, alerting & deep dive diagnostics and can be used across the software lifecycle. RTI is a fully integrated plug in to JBoss Operations Network. JON tells you when a problem occurs, RTI will tell you more – like where, how long and why.

How do you use RTI? RTI is easy to configure & use; you run the enterprise collector on the server you want to monitor and the console analyzer on the desktop you work from; optionally, you can run test automation on soapUI or JMeter and, you can run our browser collector at end user level. RTI automatically discovers and monitors business transactions, with little to no configuration needed, giving you a comprehensive, lightweight APM with low overhead. RTI allows users to pinpoint where problems are occurring by using deep dive transaction tracing, metrics & analysis with enhanced performance alerting. Increase efficiency by using one tool between operations, development, technical staff – including an end user.

Competitive advantages? Agentless installation, it’s easy to get up and running. There are no additional processes required on the servers you want to monitor. RTI is the only integrated plug in for the JBoss Operations Network; you can use one GUI interface to view JON and RTI data metrics; we have strategically aligned partnerships and a very strong relationship with the Red Hat community. We are experts in performance tuning and provide our customers with best practices and solving performance problems.
